We had another wonderful Christmas Eve this year. I was able to get out
of work around noon and get home to finish up some last minute stuff.
We were running a little behind this year since a nice little stomach
bug decided to visit us a few days before. We were just glad that
everyone was well enough to celebrate. We headed over to Memaw and
Papa's house for a wonderful dinner! After dinner we were just hanging
out and all of the sudden we heard Santa's bells ringing. We hurried up
and went to the bedroom to pretend like we were sleeping so he would
leave presents for us! :) Madison was so cute. She kept peeking her
head up and saying "shhh, Mama, Santa is coming." Once Santa left we
went out to check out what he left for us. She made out like a bandit!
A bike, blocks, clothes, Mickey Dance (which she asked for), dress up
clothes, princess castle, and many many more things. She had a blast
ripping through the gifts and then playing with them. We then headed
home to put out the reindeer food and cookies and milk for Santa. It
was a wonderful night!
