Madison Updated

It has been awhile since I have blogged! Madison is still fighting respiratory issues. She has been on antibiotics now for three weeks and she still has another week to go. We have also had to start breathing treatments. It seems to be helping her a little bit. We are hoping that this antibiotic will kick what ever is bothering her out. We also had a little scare a few weeks ago. She was at school and ate some macaroni and cheese. Well apparently she will never be able to eat that again. She had an allergic reaction to it. By the time I got her home she was having a really hard time breathing and her face was completely swollen. So 911 was called and off we went to the hospital. We now have epee pens in our house. We can't really complain though, nothing seems to bother this kid. She is always in great spirits and being sick doesn't slow her down one bit. She is now standing on her own and cruising right along the couch. Below are some recent pictures of her just having some fun!

Madison's Baptism

We finally got Madison baptized! I know, about time! It was a beautiful ceremony! She did awesome! She didn't even cry when they poured the water over her head. She even made the priest laugh. While he was reading she continued to tap his book. Very cute! We then came to the house and had a nice lunch. It was great to have all of our friends and family there. Thank you all for sharing her special day with us. We love you all.

Thanksgiving

This year Jon and I had a lot to be thankful for! Madison is finally on an upswing with her health! We have had a healthy baby now for a few weeks! Thank god! She is eating great and sleeping through the night. This year my mom was able to fly up from Florida. Unfortunately, my dad had a partial knee replacement so wasn't able to make the trip up! He was greatly missed! Madison was able to try a little bit of everything we had for dinner! The kid likes cranberry sauce! It was a wonderful day with family!

Chuckie Cheese

The other weekend we ventured to Chuckie Cheese with Marty, Nancy, and Ty! I haven't been to that place in years! Madison was asleep when we got there, and I swear, she woke up and immediately started clapping like she knew where she was! It was hilarious. She enjoyed looking at all the games and Daddy winning her some tickets! It was a good night!

Adults Weekend - Niagara Falls

For my birthday this year we headed up to Niagara Falls. Marty, Nancy, Dawn, and Paul joined us on Saturday. It was really nice to have an adults weekend and let loose a little bit! I had a great time and got to celebrate my birthday with my wonderful husband and great friends!!

Trick-or-Treat!

We took Madison on her first Trick-or-Treating adventure tonight! Uncle Timmy also joined us! She seemed to like it! She even got a sucker at one of the houses so she was able to have a taste of candy on her first Halloween!

Boo at the Zoo

This Friday we took Madison to Boo at the Zoo! Jon's mom and dad, aunt Donna, and Uncle Timmy joined us! It was a great night! She loved looking at the animals that she could see and she also enjoyed looking at all the other kids in the costumes. She even danced a little in their "club"! I think we are going to make this a yearly tradition! It will be even more fun next year when she is moving around!

Fall Photo Shoot!

Tonight Jon decided to go out and do the leaves. It was so nice outside that he made a little pile of leaves for Madison to play in! I of course had to capture her first leaf pile. She had a blast!!! It guess it is the simple things in life. She enjoyed crunching the leaves and picking them up!!!

Pickering Farm

Today we went out to Avon and did a hayride, corn maze, and looked at pumpkins. The weather was just way to nice to sit inside. It was another fun day! Madison enjoyed her first hayride and corn maze.
