Sloppy Joes!

Tonight for dinner we made sloppy joe's and chicken noodles. Let me tell you, this was a MESS!! Madison enjoyed it though. She even ate beef, which is very unusual for her! We are glad she is enjoying big people food, and can't wait to slowly introduce her to more!!

Sledding

We finally got to take Madison out on her sled. Jon's dad fixed up Jon's old sled from when he was little. Last week when it snowed, we pulled her around in the yard and then went on a little adventure in the woods. She looked way to cute in her little snow suite and boots! She enjoyed being pulled on the sled and giggled the entire time!

Disaster Diaper!

So here is a funny story for everyone, and I'm sure when she is older Daddy is going to tell her little boyfriends this one. Last week, Jon went to pick up Madison at daycare. When he walked in the building, there was a not so pleasant smell wafting through the halls! The teachers in the infant room were really glad to see him. Here, our little monkey, had a not so nice diaper. Apparently, they didn't catch it for some time. I guess she stood there and proceeded to put her hands down the backside of her diaper and play and "finger paint" with her wonderful mess! Not only was she covered, other kids decided it would be fun to "finger paint" as well. I guess her and three other kids basically had to have a bath as school, as well as almost the entire play area having to be wiped down! WONDERFUL!!! Only our little girl! I bet they pay more attention to when she needs changed now! HA! We definitely got our moneys worth last week!

11 Months Old

On January 12, 2011 Madison turned 11 months old! We can't believe that next month out little booger will be 1! This year has just flown by. We are both wishing we could slow down time! She is doing something new every day! She is now standing on her own and slowly but surely taking tentative steps without holding on to anything. So far we have gotten three steps on her own! Her favorite food is still yogurt, fruit medley, chicken and apples, and turkey and sweet potatoes. She has started on a little table food, and that has been a lot of fun. She is sleeping through the night for the most part. We also have more than two teeth finally!!!! Her top two front teeth came in and the ones next to them! She is still having issues with sinus infections and she is currently on another round of antibiotics. We are hoping after this, maybe, we can have her off antibiotics for more than a month! Below are some recent pictures of her! Enjoy!

New Year's Eve

This year for NYE, since my mom and dad were in town, we decided to have a little party at our house! It was a great night, with family, great friends, and great food! We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and that everyone has an amazing year in 2011!! :)

More from Grammy and Gramps Visit!

Madison had a great time spending the week with my mom and dad who were in from Florida! She was spoiled rotten! Lots of love and attention none stop. My mom and dad got some really great pictures so I wanted to share them. We miss you bunches Grammy and Gramps!

Coat that Grammy Made!

Grammy's Stew!

While my mom was here, she made lots of yummy food for us! She made a stew and Madison gave it a try. I think more ended up on the floor and on her than in her mouth, but the pictures are just way to cute not to share! Thanks again Grammy! :)

Christmas Day!

Christmas morning was awesome! Madison woke up, had her bottle, and then saw what was under the Christmas tree! She had a great time ripping all the paper off her presents! She got a ton more toys and even more clothes! It seriously looks like Toys R Us exploded in our house! All the work was well worth it though! She was all smiles in the morning! Later in the afternoon my mom and dad arrived! So, yes, even more toys and clothes! She again loved opening all the presents! It was so nice to have Grammy and Gramps here on Christmas Day! Below are some pictures of Madie's first Christmas!
