Random Happenings!

Madison has been doing great! Sleeping, she absolutely loves, which is great for Jon and I!!! She is finally starting to feel better, so her appetite is coming back! She is eating like a little horse! She loves apples, pears, peas, and green beans! We are working on getting her to like her squash and sweet potatoes, but so far she is not a fan. She loves her bouncer! She can sit in that thing for hours and entertain herself!!! It's great for when we have to get the house clean or laundry done!! We decided to give her a sippy cup to see what she would do! She actually liked it! She is still trying to figure out how to hold it, but at least we know she can drink out of one, even if we have to hold it!

Trying to hold her big girl cup!

Loving her little bouncer!!!

Finger Painting!

So I decided it would be fun to try and finger paint with Madison. She kind of liked it. She was fascinated by the colors, but wasn't too sure about putting her hands in the paint. It was a fun 10 minutes and she made her first piece of artwork for the fridge!!! So Proud!!!

Enjoying Making a Mess!

Tall Ships and The Science Museum

This past weekend the Tall Ships were in town. We ventured downtown to take a look! The ships were really neat, but not really a place to push a stroller around. It was hot and there were a ton of people!

We decided to take Madison to the Science Museum! It was a blast! She is so fun to watch! She was wide eyed the whole time! There was so much for her to look at! It's going to be a lot of fun when she is a little bit bigger and can actually play with the stuff!

Splash Park

In Fairview there is this really cute little splash park for kids! Jon's parents live in Fairview so we were able to take Madison. It's more for kids who can walk, but she had a great time with me holding her and running her through the water! Needless to say I didn't think I was going to get that wet, but I did!! It so fun watching her do things for the first time!! It's like getting to be a kid all over again!!

Fourth of July!

We had a great fourth of July weekend! Jon's parents had us over for a cookout! It was a beautiful day out! Madison enjoyed being outside! I swear thought, this kid can sleep through anything! The fireworks going on around her did not even bother her!! We didn't venture to fireworks this year! To hard with all the people and a big stroller! Next year for sure!!! It was a great day and evening!!

Madison Swimming!!!

Thanks to Nancy, and her parents, we got to take Madison swimming for the first time! It was at night and when we first put her in she really was not sure what to make of it. We had like 20 seconds of crying and then the fun began! She really enjoyed splashing around in the water.

Thanks again Nancy and Marty for having us over!!! It was a great time and we must do it again soon!

Bay Days

After a fun weekend at Cedar Point we went to Bay Days with Marty, Nancy, and Ty! Again, we had a great time. Jon and Ty are now bumper car buddies! Too Cute! It was nice to be out in the fresh air, and it tires Madison out!!! Mommy even won her her first stuffed animal! She beat Daddy at the water gun race! HA!!! It was a great day with great friends!

Cedar Point

Well we it's been awhile so there is much to update on. We took Madison to Cedar Point for the first time! We were not sure how long we would be able to stay, but the kid LOVED it! She had a great time looking around at all the rides and people. We had a great time with Marty, Nancy, and Ty! Thanks guys for a great day! I even got to ride a few rides. The parent pass is a great thing!!! Jon had fun with Madison watching live music in the Saloon. It was really kinda cute!! The place was full of dad's cooling off with a cold beer, and watching the show with their kids! We had such a good time we are thinking about taking her back when Halloweekends start!!
