Introducing Buddy!

We would like to introduce you all to Buddy!

Jon stopped at the Cleveland APL on Wednesday and they had Shepard/Labrador mix puppies! We went and took a look and today we went and picked up Buddy! Madison and my parents came with us and Madison just went crazy when she saw him! She kept saying "Hey Buddy", so she named her first puppy Buddy! We are all excited to welcome him into our home and so far he is settling in great! Now, bring on the Potty Training!

Christmas Day!

Christmas Morning started off at 8:00 for me as I got our turkey in the oven for dinner! Madison must have been really tired because she slept in until 9. Jon got her up and they had cereal and juice in bed while I finished up in the kitchen. We then told her that Santa had come and brought her a bunch of presents :) We had set up her big gift, the kitchen set, so when she walked down the stairs that was the first thing that she saw. All we heard was "ohhhhhh" and she made a mad dash for it! She never ceases to amaze me. She walked into that little kitchen and proceeded to "cook" for us. She knew exactly what to do! It was way to cute and I am so glad that she loves it! In fact, she liked it so much, we had a hard time getting her out of it to open up the rest of her presents! :) She took her time, but she got through all of them. Along with her kitchen set she got a play wagon to pull, a vacuum, two dance games for the Wii, lots of coloring books and stickers, chapstick, candy, a puppy pillow, an elephant game, and an Elmo microphone. I would say that Santa was really good to her this year! :)

We hung out and played for a little while then got dressed and headed over to Jon's parents house to say Merry Christmas and eat lunch. After lunch, we headed home and got Madison down for her nap. Once she got up, she had another surprise...Grammy and Gramps came into town and brought her a bunch more presents!!! Madison made out like a bandit once again! She got her sit n' spin, her rock with me Elmo, clothes, a race car set, a home made bowling set with bowling hats, which is just absolutely adorable, and an awesome investment!!! After presents we sat down to a nice turkey dinner and then spent the rest of the night playing! It was a WONDERFUL Christmas this year. It was so much fun with Madison and seeing Christmas through a child's eyes again. I hope you all enjoyed Christmas this year as much as we did!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started with a last minute bake session. I decided it would be fun to make some Christmas cupcakes with Madison. It is so fun to watch her! She did so good helping me mix the batter and pour it into the pans! She is such a good little helper.

Once the cupcakes were bakes, we decided to head out for a little bit and grab some lunch. We ended up at Friday's and Madison did really well. She sat in her chair most of the time, and even got a little stuffed animal from our server, which totally made her day. Once we got home, she went down for a nap and Jon and I finished up some last minute projects, finished wrapping some gifts, and I finished up making an appetizer. We got Madison up from her nap around 3:30 and got dressed to head over to Jon's parents house. We sat around, talked, ate some amazing food and then it was time for presents! Have you ever tried to keep an almost 2 year old from not opening presents under a Christmas tree! LOL. She had so much fun! She even helped Jon pass out the presents. She then got to work on opening up the mother load of gifts. Seriously, she made out. She got an easel, play doh table, a ton of clothes, a remote control car, a barn, books, the counting cookie jar, a little purse, more chap stick, and some money for her piggy bank! We are so grateful for everything! She did awesome this year opening presents. She would open up one present and then want to take a few minutes to play with it! At about 9:00 Madison was tired so we headed home.

Once we got her down for the night, it was time to start getting things ready for the morning! Santa "aka Daddy" put the finishing touches on her kitchen playset and we then brough out all the gifts for under the tree. It was so much fun setting all of this up! Here is what everything looked like when it was all out!
After all was said and done, we took our tired selves to bed to wait for Santa to come! :)

Gifts from Uncle Timmy!

Uncle Timmy, you are the best! :) Seriously, I don't know where you found it, but Madison LOVES IT!!! Uncle Timmy found Madison a Yo Gabba Gabby key board mat that you put on the floor. When you step on it, it makes music! She has not stopped jumping on that thing since we brought it home. She also got some amazing outfits (courtesy of Amie and Lynn), some equally adorable hair bows and some jammies. You are all to good to Madison and we thank you and love you very much! Thank you for making Christmas special for Madison this year!

Gifts from Aunt Amanda!

Seriously, our child is spoiled! Aunt Amanda also got Madison some wonderful gifts! Can you say chap stick?? (Yes Aunt Amanda, I'm going to drop her off at your house to play with the sparkly chap stick you got her! hehe). She also got this amazing book from Hallmark! It has an interactive doggy that goes with it so when you read a certain sentence in the book, the dog reacts! She loves it and it is just way to cute! She also got Madison (well, really Mommy and Daddy) some new sippy cups and forks! (seriously, I think Madison hides them, I don't know where they all went!) Thanks again Aunt Amanda! Madison loved everything!

Gifts from Aunt Rachel and Uncle Ryan

Aunt Rachel and Uncle Ryan also spoiled our little one like crazy! I can't even begin to tell you how much we appreciate everything you guys have done for us and how much Madison loves you guys! She was so excited when Aunt Rachel walked in with three presents for her! :) She got an awesome Ice Cream set, some pots and pans, and some awesome Dora bathtub paint (which by the way Aunt Rachel, she it totally waiting for you on that one!!) Thanks again, Madison really loved everything, and she is playing with everything like crazy!

Gifts from Aunt Dawn and Uncle Paul

A couple days before Christmas Aunt Dawn and Uncle Paul brought Madison over her presents. I must say, this kid is one lucky little girl! She is loved so much and we appreciate everything that they do for Madison. She made out like a bandit! :) She got some awesome coloring books, stickers, and a ladybug that projects stars on her ceiling. Bo even came over to join in on the fun! Thank you so much Aunt Dawn and Uncle Paul! She loved everything and she carries her "buggy" around with her all through the house!
