An Early Dirty 30!

Yikes, 30 is creeping up on me really fast! Since my parents were in town they decided to celebrate a little bit early! We had cake, which Madison really enjoyed, and opened a few presents. My mom even made Madison a shirt with a picture of her and I on it that said "My Mommy is 30". I still can't believe that I am going to be 30 in just a few days, but I sure don't feel 30! LOL.

Is it Madison's or Max's?!?

So, this is just too funny not to share. As stated earlier, Max is here visiting with Madison. Well, along with max comes his cage. Madison had decided that it is a fun to hide, sit, play, lay down, in Max's cage! LOL, she crawls in there and closes the door. Can we use this as a babysitter?!?!? She was even giving my dad kisses through the "bars". Only our child would want to close herself into a cage!

Painting with Grammy!

I have a feeling while we are gone Madison is going to be one busy little girl. After walking Max, she wanted to paint, so Grammy let her paint! She painted two wonderful pictures for Grammy and Gramps to take home with them! :) They better be careful or they may have Madison art as wall paper!

Walking Max

Madison is seriously in love with Grammy and Gramp's dog, Max. She is all over him! He gets more hugs and kisses than mommy and daddy do, and he is wonderful with her. He lets her do anything! She loves to take Max for walks, so the sun was actually out today and she took her "Maxy" for a walk!

Boo at the Zoo!!

This Friday we ventured to Boo at the Zoo! We had a large group this year! My parents came up from Florida to watch Madison while Jon and I are in Cancun so they got to join us this year. Jon's mom and dad, Aunt Donna, Amanda, Dawn, and Paul also came with us! :) We had our own herd! LOL. Madison had so much fun this year. She loved walking around and looking at the animals that were out. Her absolute favorite was the elephants. She went nuts when we saw them! She also really enjoyed the people that were dressed in the animal costumes! She was obsessed with going up and hugging them. She also got to see Slider again! :) She was so upset until he came over and gave her a couple of hugs. We had a great time and are glad we are making this a tradition.

Pumpkins!

Since Madison was sick last week and Jon and I are leaving for Cancun on Sunday,( that's right, a whole week with my husband, be jealous) we just ran to Walmart to grab some pumpkins to carve/paint with Madison. The kid loves paint...I think it is more of her enjoying painting for a few minutes and then just making a mess! hehehe! Anyways, she had fun painting her pumpkin with her Great Aunt Donna! Then, after the the pumpkin dried, Daddy helped her put her Mrs. Potato Head pieces on it! This child of ours sure does love to do some crafts!
