Another wonderful Christmas has come and gone. We had a nice relaxing
day at home! Madison woke up around 8:30 and wanted cereal before she
opened presents. We came downstairs and she checked to make sure that
Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk that she left for him. Then
she started opening up her presents. She took her time opening and we
enjoyed every minute of it. Santa must have thought she was a really
good girl because he left a ton of stuff for her! She even got her very
own Innotab to play games on. She also got some more legos, shrinky
dink maker, snoopy snow cone maker, Tom and Jerry figures, a couple
games for her tablet, Disney cars, and a whole slew of other stuff. We
hung out for awhile and then Grammy and Gramps came! YAY!! :) She made
out like a bandit again. She even got the Mickey Mouse club house with
all the characters, games, rain coats, boots and umbrella that match
(she insisted on putting it all on and walking around the house with the
umbrella), and a little something for her investment! :) She also got
a "bash cake" from Sarris candy (seriously, the best chocolate
around). She had so much fun breaking open the cake to find the
chocolate covered pretzels. We spent the rest of the day playing with
toys.
