Since hurricane Sandy decided to grace us with her presence,
trick-or-treating has been postponed until Sunday, November 4th. This
actually worked out great since Madison has been fighting a fever since
Sunday! She did remember though that it was Halloween. She wanted to
wear her costume when I got home from work today, so we put on her
costume and did trick-or-treating in the house. She went to each room
in the house and practiced saying "trick-or-treat" and collected her
candy from Mommy and Daddy! Now she is really looking forward Sunday!

Pumpkin Carving 2012
The whole gang was over on Saturday to carve some pumpkins! We were
supposed to go to Boo at the Zoo, but with the rain and cold, and
Madison starting with a cough, we decided it would be best to stay home
and have some fun, Aunt Rachel, Uncle Ryan, Memaw, Papa, Aunt Donna,
Aunt Dawn, Uncle Paul and Dominic all came by to carve some pumpkins!
We had a blast! Aunt Rachel even whipped up some pumpkin seeds for
everyone! AMAZING! All the pumpkins came out looking great!

Pumpkin Painting
Tonight, we let Madison paint her pumpkin. Since it was almost 80
degrees today, we set up outside after dinner so she could paint away!
She did a great job sitting at her little table painting her pumpkin.
We will do carving this weekend, but she enjoys painting a pumpkin as
well!
Trick or Treat Street
On Sunday, we headed to the IX Center to check out the Trick or Treat
Street. It was really cute for the kids. They had a room set up where
there were trick or treat stations. Madison made out pretty good! They
also had rides set up for the kids! She got to ride a few and her
favorite, the dragon roller coaster, was there! She also got to ride a
pony and play some games! They had a sand art station set up so she got
to do that as well! It was a great Sunday afternoon!
