Weekend of Animals!

What an amazing weekend! On Saturday, the weather here was just yucky! It was cold and rainy, so we were trying to figure out what we could get into. We finally decided to head to the Rain Forest. Madison had a blast! She really enjoyed looking at the monkeys. She seriously stood there and watched the for over a half hour, which for our child is a miracle. Aunt Rachel joined us and we had a blast. We then headed over to Harry Buffalo for lunch. Madison ate like a little piggy! She had a bunch of pasta, a bunch of french fries, a bowl of ice cream, and then she topped it off with a piece of garlic bread!


Today, we woke up and the sun was actually out. We decided to take a drive and head to the safari park out in Catawba. We had a blast! Madison loved, loved, loved feeding the animals. There were some HUGE Oxen and Buffalo. Jon and Madison had a good laugh...I was taking pictures of Jon and Madie feeding a small buffalo and I turned around and this HUGE buffalo had it's whole head in my window! It was seriously right in my face when I turned around. Not going to lie, I almost peed myself! LOL! Anyways, we had a wonderful day and if we get another nice day out we might head back again, that's how much fun Madison had. We had a nice lunch at a local joint and then of course had to stop at Cheese Heaven.
