Trick-or-Treat

Trick-or-Treat was a blast this year.  We had everyone over and the kids had a blast.  After a quick dinner, the kids got ready to head out.  Madison and her friend took off running, so I didn't get many pictures!  Jack didn't get to go out this year because of the cold and rain, but he did put his whale costume on for a little bit.  Madison scored tons of candy and had fun sorting through all of it!  

Pumpkin Carving!

This year, Madison actually wanted to clean out her own pumpkin!  I was shocked considering she thought the inside of the pumpkin was nasty! :)  She did a great job scooping out the guts.  She then drew a face and we carved it out for her.  I was a horrible photographer and didn't get a picture of the finished product!  Jack wanted to eat and he just enjoyed watching what was going on.  She also had daddy carve a Cinderella pumpkin and I had to do the Scooby Doo pumpkin.  It was a really fun evening!  

Fun in the Leaves

After Madison's soccer game we headed home to play in the leaves since it was nice out!  She had so much fun throwing the leaves and jumping in them.  Jack, well he just laid there and let me take his picture.  Next year I'm sure he will be all about jumping and playing with his big sister!  

Wildcats Make-Up Game!

The Wildcats had their make-up game this evening! It was a great game and the Wildcats won 4-1! Madison and her team mates did awesome! It's so fun to watch all te kids play and learn a team sport! Way to go wildcats!

Hillcrest Orchard

We headed off to Hillcrest Orchard on Sunday to pick some apples!  It ended up being a really nice day!  The sun was shining and there was a nice cool breeze.  Madison had so much fun running from tree to tree picking apples!  Jackson just hung out again and took in his surroundings!  We even let him lick an apple.  The face he made was priceless!  Once we picked our apples we just walked around and enjoyed the afternoon.  Once we got home Madison helped me make a yummy apple pie!  Fall is just around the corner and this put us in the mood for sweatshirt weather!
