Polar Express

This year, we decided to take Madison on the Polar Express. In preparation for it we read her the book and watched the movie. She was so excited when the time came. She really enjoyed the train ride and was super excited when it was her turn to talk to Santa. She told him what she wanted and then he gave her a bell from his sleigh. I think this will be sething we do again!!

Snowman Building!

It snowed the other night, so we headed out to build our first snowman of the year.  The snow was perfect for it!  Madison has the snowman making thing down!  She rolled the snow and helped daddy get the perfect snowballs for the snowman.  We had to improvise on some of the snowman...he ended up with beer bottle eyes and nose and potatoes for his buttons, but he came out looking pretty darn good!

Family Fun and Dave and Busters!

Last week we headed off to Dave and Busters for a little bit of fun. Madison was finally feeling all better and we were tired of hiding in the house. She loves it there and runs from game to game! Love this kiddo and our family time!!

Gingerbread Fun!

One day after work, we decided to bust out our gingerbread man making skills. I found a little kit that had everything in it that we needed! Madison had so much fun decorating with the candy, as well as eating the candy!!

Botanical Gardens

A few days ago we headed off to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens to check out their Christmas displays. Madison had a blast! She loved the big tree and all the gingerbread houses they had set up. We also strolled through the gardens and Madison was lucky enough to have a butterfly land on her. Pretty butterfly hung around for awhile too, just going for a ride. It was a great family afternoon out!

Christmas Program!

On December 6th, Madison had her school Christmas program!  It was so cute!  All the kids did such a good job!  Madison really enjoyed singing all the songs.  That all we heard the month of November.  She also had all her moves down too!  They sang three songs in English and three songs in French...very impressive!  It was cute, all the kids belted out the songs in English and screamed what they knew in the French songs. We also got to see her do some of the dance moves she is learning in her dance class!   So glad Madison was able to attend this year since she was sick last year! :)

Christmas Tree Fun!

Since Madie was out of school for a few days, we took advantage and got out Christmas Trees up and decorated!  We had so much fun getting house ready for Santa...all was going well until she got silly!  We were setting up our second tree and I was trying to get the skirt under it.  She decided it would be fun to sit on my back and jump up and down.  It was hilarious, she was laughing hysterically and of course Daddy had to snap some pictures!  While we might have been stuck in the house, we still had a good time!
