A couple of weekends ago Jon and I took Madison to spend the night
downtown and stay at the Ritz! The kid had a blast! She was was known
as "princess Madison" to all the staff and man, did they treat her like
one. Anything the kid wanted she got. When we checked in she got her
welcome gift, which was a cool little Elmo figurine. We got to the room
and she had fun jumping on the bed for a little bit. We then headed
off to take a ride on the Goodtime III. She loved it! We got some
awesome views of the city. We then went back to the hotel and she had a
shirley temple. We then got some pizza and watched a movie in the room
before heading to the indoor pool. We had fun swimming for awhile and
then Madison asked Jon for her "night cap". Yes, we promised her if she
was good, she could get another shirley temple before bed. While we
were down there she started talking to one her friends that she had
made. The next thing we know, we were told to follow him, he had a
surprise for us. He took us up to the Executive floor so Madison could
have a desert and mom and dad could have a real night cap! So,
basically Madison scored us free drinks! While we were sitting up
there, Madison's friend came back up with a crown, wand, and princess
purse...she really was the Princess of the Ritz! She also scored us
free breakfast in the morning! We had an amazing time and hope to do it
again soon!
