Playing in the Snow!
Saturday afternoon there was finally enough snow for us to go out and play in! We tried pulling Madison around in the sled and she didn't really want to do that. She had more fun trying to walk in her snow suite and new snow boots! It took her a little while to get used to the snow, but once Jon and I started throwing snow balls at each other she started laughing and trying to through snowballs at Daddy! Aunt Rachel even came over and joined in on the phone! Three against on, Jon didn't stand a chance! :)

Dog Show!
On Saturday, the IX Center was having their annual dog show. They had 2,400+ dogs registered this year. We decided that we would take Madison so she could look at all the dogs. It was also great for Jon and I. We were able to talk to some of the breeders and learn a little about each breed so that when the time comes, we know which kind of dog will fit well into our family. Madison had a blast and just kept running from dog to dog in the meet and greet part of the show. She really enjoyed the little Boston terrier and the pug puppies!

Candy Cane Christmas
This Friday, we headed out to Spring Mist Farms with Madison to enjoy Candy Cane Christmas! This event was great! I work with Lee, who owns the Farm, and let me tell you, this was a cute event specifically for kids! We were able to go out in the barn and see the animals, including Charlie the Camel! Madison really loved that, but she really really loved the two little kittens that were in there! We were then able to go over to the other building where they had wonderful little games for the kids to play, a huge train set up, and then Santa's Workshop where you got to make a toy with Santa. Let's just say that Madison is still not a fan of Santa so Daddy made her little wooden toy train for her. They even burn the kids name into the toy with the year on it. We are going to make this a tradition every year!

Santa Claus
Well.....Let's just put it this way, at least we got a picture! LOL! We tried to take Madison to see Santa this past Saturday and we couldn't even get her to sit or look at Santa. She literally had a death grip on my next. I could have taken my arms out from underneath her and she would have just hung there like a little monkey. It was so bad they didn't even snap a picture. We tried again tonight and we at least got her to sit with Santa....but, there were tears! Poor thing, one of these days she is going to love Santa! The best part is that after she got off his lap she looked and said "bye bye Santa". What a goof!
Lip gloss Queen!
Soooooo....Aunt Amanda brought Madison a lovely gift this weekend....Lip gloss! Like, a whole bag of lip gloss! She literally sat on the floor and put a TON of lip gloss on for a good hour! Every color was all over her! She then proceeded to go around and give everyone sticky kisses! LOL, thanks Aunt Amanda! :)

Trying to get stickyness off my face!
Trains!
This past weekend we decided to get my dad's (Gramps's) train out of the attic to see if we could get it up and running. We brought down all the track and the cars and set up a small track and wouldn't you know it, we got it started! It needs a little work so I'm not going to post pictures of the train yet, but I snapped some great pictures of Madison's face as the train went around and around! She laughed and smiled the whole time it was running! Thanks Gramps for giving us your train set, she LOVES IT!!!

Mirror Mirror on the Wall
This weekend Jon had to go up in the attic for something so he took the large mirror we have in the hallway off the wall. Madison proceeded to walk up to it and make faces and talk to herself. I grabbed the camera and started snapping away. I now know what it would look like to have two little Madison's walking around! :) She is too cute for words and was making the cutest faces!
