Natural History Museum

This weekend we headed out to the Natural History Museum. Madison had a blast! The minute we got there all we heard was "ohhh, whoa, look". She literally started running through the place! We had to convince her to slow down and look at stuff! Her favorite was for sure were the dinosaurs. She would just stand there and look up! She also enjoyed playing the activity center finding fossils! It so much fun watching her look at things and get excited about them! She also really enjoyed the "rain" that they had in the atmosphere exhibit. She kept asking one of us to pick her up and let her touch the water! Thanks Aunt Dawn and Uncle Paul for coming with us!!

Sliding Queen

This week we had a really nice day outside! Jon picked up Madison from school, I hot tailed it out of work, and we all met up at the local park! Madison is in LOVE with the slide. She goes down and runs right back up! Way to cute! If you sit at the top of the slide with her, she counts to three and then goes! We got to play for about 20 minutes before it got dark out. I hope we have at least one more decent day so we can do this again before we are locked in the house for the winter!!

Lego Fest!

We headed out to the IX center last Sunday with Aunt Dawn and Uncle Paul for the Lego Fest. I have never seen so many Legos in my life. Madison had fun playing in the huge lego pile that they had. They also had some really cool big figures made out of legos and a huge lego city that you could add to! Madison also enjoyed a big snow cone and cotton candy! We all played in the lego pile for awhile and then went over to one of the stations they had set up where you could build with legos. There wasn't really much more that Madison could do there, but we made the best of it. Needless to say, we found legos in the bottom of the stroller when we got home...ooops! :) It was a great night and if the lego fest comes to town again, we will probably take her in a couple of years!

Safari Park Take Two!

The other weekend we headed back out to the Safari Park! Madison loved it so much the first time, we figured, why not! Once again, she had a blast! The animals we literally sticking their whole heads in the car again! We even got Jon's dad to feed the buffalo a carrot from his mouth! LOL! It was a great time and a wonderful day!
