Mother's Day 2011
What a beautiful and fun day today! Madison and Jon brought me breakfast in bed! They also got me a beautiful new coach purse and wallet! WONDERFUL! :) We had planned on going to the zoo, but that didn't happen. We tried, but with 40,000 plus people having the same idea, we decided to pass. We sat in traffic for almost an hour to get to the entrance of the zoo only to be told the lots were closed and we could take a chance on parking a long way away, but no guarantee they were even going to let us into the zoo! NO Thanks! We went and grabbed some food and headed to the little park that is by our house. Madison loved it, and so did we! She got to go down the slide for the first time and swing on a swing for the first time! Needless to say, we are now in the process of looking for an awesome swing set for her! We then headed to Toys R Us and picked up some sand toys and sand for Madison's new sandbox. We spent the rest of the day outside playing! Today couldn't have been more perfect. I am so lucky to have a wonderful daughter and a loving husband! Here are some pictures from today.

Go Uncle Ryan, Go!!!
Saturday, Aunt Rachel and Uncle Ryan came by! Ryan and Madison have a thing where Uncle Ryan has to push her around in her wagon. It was nice out Saturday evening so outside they went! Madison absolutely adores Aunt Rachel and Uncle Ryan! They sure know how to play! Madison would start "yelling" if Ryan stopped pulling her around in the wagon. Lots of laughs and smiles! Thanks guys for coming buy and playing with Madison! Her face lights up every time you guys are over!
She is dancing here waiting for Uncle Ryan to go again!

Back Yard Fun!
This past week, we had some nice weather here in Ohio, well one nice day! The rains broke and we headed outside after work. It was a little chilly, but the sun was shining and the sky was blue! Madison has really been enjoying the outdoors. She is constantly by the front door holding her shoes "asking" to go outside. This usually consists of pounding on the door or the screen! :) I snapped some pictures of her playing outside and wanted to share!

Madison's Helmet
So, our child figured out that her turtle, who's shell has shapes on it, fits perfectly on her head. She now proceeds to put this on her head and walk around and giggle. What a special little girl! I will say, Jon and I are kind of glad she has it on because it protects her head when she either falls or walks into things! LOL! We caught it on camera tonight!

Easter Sunday 2011
This Easter was a lot of fun!!!Madison sure was spoiled this Easter. She got Easter baskets from Mommy and Daddy, Grammy and Gramps, Aunt Dawn and Uncle Paul, Aunt Amanda, Aunt Donna, and Grandma and Grandpa. We got Madison up, had a little breakfast, got dressed, and then wouldn't you know it, the Easter Bunny had left some eggs and a basket for Madison! :) She is really starting to pick up on concepts. She was picking up her Easter eggs and putting them in her basket. She would get a little distracted by shaking the eggs and getting candy out, but all in all, she got it. We then went over to Jon's parents for a nice Easter lunch. Here are some pictures of Madison in her pretty Easter dress.

Sidewalk Chalk
This past Saturday it was actually pretty nice out. The sun came out for a little, so outside we went to play with some sidewalk chalk. Madison is starting to get the idea of holding the chalk and "drawing". Fun little side story to these pictures, you will notice in some of them a wet spot on our driveway. Madison popped a squat and peed out of the side of her diaper. Needless to say, we laughed and laughed and laughed. The kid has a way about getting her business out the side of her diaper. Anyways, we had a good time playing outside for a few hours! We can't wait for some nice warm weather!
