Feeding the Ducks!

This weekend we took Madison to go feed the ducks at Clauge Park. There were tons of them and she was fascinated by them. All was going great, until the Geese decided to show up! Those things are mean!!! Thank goodness we had enough bread to make a fast escape! lol! We then went over to the swings for a couple minutes. She is still a little bit to small for the baby swing, but I held her and we had fun for a little!

County Fair

We took Madison to the Cuyahoga County Fair last weekend. She had a great time looking at all of the animals. When we got to the barn with the cows, the kid actually starting laughing out loud. I guess she thought they were funny looking! We had a great time walking around. She even got to hear some Pink Floyd music. She is definitely her fathers kid when it comes to music. She like live music and listens very intensely.

Taking a break from the Heat!

Likes her Vitamin Water!

Ok, this was hilarious! It looked like she was dancing for a dollar! HA!

Madison's Baby Pool

So, we broke down and bought Madison' a little pool. It's been so hot outside and we thought she would like to cool down. Jon blew it up, filled it up, and outside we went. She did pretty well. She liked her legs in the water, but wasn't to sure about the rest of her body. She splashed around for awhile and then had enough. I'm hoping that she enjoys the water as much as I do!

Thanks Mom and Dad! I like my pool!

New Foods and A Healthy Baby!

Well after a really long week last week, we are finally back on track! Madison caught a nasty virus which sent her to the hospital twice and the doctors three times. The poor kid was having a hard time breathing, eating, and had a temperature of 104.6. She had her first overnight hospital stay and it was horrible! She is now 100% better and we got the okay to start the stage 2 foods, including meat, from her doctor! I was very surprised that the kid actually like the meats. The stuff is absolutely disgusting, but as long as she likes it, that's all that matters! I'm sure she will be mad at me when she gets older and reads this, but as gross as that stuff is going it, it is even worse coming out!!! :)

Chicken and Apples...Hmmm that looks different Mom!

More Please!

I think is is really good!!

Beef and Veggies!

She really liked the beef and veggies....she at the whole jar!

Metro Parks

We had another really fun and busy weekend. Saturday we did all of our running around and went to a graduation party. Sunday we woke up and weren't really sure what we wanted to do. We gave our friends Ryan and Rachel a call. We all went to lunch and then headed over to their house to pick up their dogs and head over the the Metro Parks. What a blast! The dogs got to run and Madison got to check out the park for the first time. She was looking around at everything and really enjoyed being outside. She loved Rachel and Ryan's dogs! She even got to sit on Cohen. :) We had a great time today guys! Thanks!!

Cohen is such a good boy! He let Madison sit on his back!!! She even got big doggie kisses!!

Jon and Madie watching Cohen chase his remote controlled car.

Random Happenings!

Madison has been doing great! Sleeping, she absolutely loves, which is great for Jon and I!!! She is finally starting to feel better, so her appetite is coming back! She is eating like a little horse! She loves apples, pears, peas, and green beans! We are working on getting her to like her squash and sweet potatoes, but so far she is not a fan. She loves her bouncer! She can sit in that thing for hours and entertain herself!!! It's great for when we have to get the house clean or laundry done!! We decided to give her a sippy cup to see what she would do! She actually liked it! She is still trying to figure out how to hold it, but at least we know she can drink out of one, even if we have to hold it!

Trying to hold her big girl cup!

Loving her little bouncer!!!

Finger Painting!

So I decided it would be fun to try and finger paint with Madison. She kind of liked it. She was fascinated by the colors, but wasn't too sure about putting her hands in the paint. It was a fun 10 minutes and she made her first piece of artwork for the fridge!!! So Proud!!!

Enjoying Making a Mess!
