Swimming Fun!

Earlier this summer we bought Madison one of those easy up pools. Of course this summer hasn't been that warm and the water in the pool is freezing! She's been chomping at the bit to get in that pool! Jon is such a good dad and froze his butt off the other day swimming with her! She had a blast jumping in from the ladder!! Hoping we get some hot days so we can use the pool a few more times!!

Welcome Jackson Mason Gluvna!!

Early Friday morning about 3:00 am I woke up feeling really uncomfortable! I got up and drank some water thinking it was nothing. The pain got worse and there was a pattern to it. I woke Jon up at 4:30 am and told him I was calling the doctor. They told me to come in and get checked out. I took a quick shower and Jon's mom came over to watch Madison. We went to leave for the hospital around 5:30 am and as I was getting into the car my water broke. Talk about a weird feeling. We got to the hospital and I was only in triage for a couple of minutes before they moved me to a room. At 8:00 am I was given my epidural and all was right in the world! :)  Madison came up to the hospital to hang out and we colored and did make up. At 11:15 I was able to start pushing and Jackson made his way into the world at 11:31 am.  He was a health 7lbs 4 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. He is perfect! Within 20 minutes Madison was able to come in and meet her little brother. She was in love and couldn't wait to hold and cuddle him. We were in our room shortly after and were able to hang out as a family of four.

Saturday I was feeling great and Jackson was doing really well so we were able to go home at 6:00 pm. It felt good to get home and sleep in my own bed. 

We are so lucky that we have two happy and healty children. We are truly blessed!!

Chalk Paint!!

We happened to have some chalk paint and decided today would be a good day to use it!! We started off painting all over the driveway. We then thought it would be fun to do some hand prints and some of buddy's paw prints. One thing lead to another and we painted buddy with the left over paint. He is such a good dog and just stood there and let Madison paint him!! It was such a fun afternoon!!! She keeps asking if we can do it again!!

Snip-it's Birthday Party!

Madison was invited to one of her school friends birthday party at snip-it's. It was such a an awesome party. All the girls got their nails painted, makeup done, hair done, and then they put on a fashion show. Seriously so cute and she had such a good time!!!
