Get to the Point......

Cedar Point that is!  We made our first trip of the year on Saturday.  Madison was able to ride so much more this year.  Of course we had to hit the merry go round first!  She still loves it and smiles the whole time.  We then walked ran to the plane ride.  She was able to ride this year all by herself and LOVED it.  She then moved on to the cars, antique cars, train, balloons, swings, race track, submarine, and bus.  It wasn't crowded at all, which was nice because we didn't even have to get off of some of the rides!  They just let us keep riding until someone else got in line.  She also loved playing games again this year, and loved the arcade as well.  Finally at about 5:00 PM she just couldn't keep her eyes open anymore.  However, she REFUSED to lay down in her wagon.  She was literally falling asleep sitting up.  I was afraid she was going to fall sideways out of the wagon!  We finally got her to lay down for about an hour and a half.  When we woke her up she said she was ready to ride again, but we went on the tea cups and the poor kid was falling asleep on the ride.  The best was when we were leaving though.  She was dead asleep while Jon was carrying her as we walked pass the merry go round she popped her head up and said "Madie ride".  So we let her and again, she was falling asleep!  Too funny!  I'm so glad we have the season passes and can go anytime we want!  She loves it there and anytime we ask her what she wants to do she now says "Cedar Point, Madie ride roller coaster."

She found her love for Snoopy!

Couldn't even keep her eyes open on the tea cups!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun!

Who doesn't love a long weekend?  The Gluvna's sure do!  We had a wonderful long weekend.  On Sunday, we had a cookout and had a blast!  Madison had fun playing in the water, her birdhouse, digging in the dirt, playing in the sprinkler and eating lots of yummy food!  Uncle Ryan brought over his smoker and smoked some brisket and corn, we had hamburgers, hotdogs, pasta salad, fruit, veggies, brownies, cookies, and so much more!  The adults even got to have a few adult beverages.  Madison even made her first marshmallow with daddy!  It's officially summer now! :)  We are ready for warm weather, water fun, and even more cookouts!

Bambi

The other week Jon was working from home and called to tell me that a baby deer was laying in our yard.  It had been there since the morning so he was starting to get concerned that the mommy deer had left it.  He called a couple places and they reassured him that the mom would come back for it.  When I got home from work, the little baby deer was still in our yard.  We called a couple other places and they told us how to pull up the baby's skin to make sure it wasn't dehydrated.  Within a half hour of us checking on the deer, sure enough the mama deer came back for her baby.  It was the cutest thing ever!

Play Set Party

Well the day finally came and it was time to get Madison's play set up!  Thank goodness for amazing friends!  Aunt Rachel, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Dawn, Uncle Paul, Kilbane, Aaron, Papa and Memaw!  They busted this thing out almost the whole day Saturday two weeks ago and we can't thank everyone enough!  They worked so hard all day and Madison is just in LOVE.  She has officially called it Madie's Birdhouse, and yes, we are considering getting her a sign to put on it! :)  Everyday when she gets home from school she asks to play in her birdhouse.  She loves the slide and swing and will play on them for hours on end.  We can't thank everyone enough for all of the help!
