Medieval Festival

We headed out to Geneva for the Medieval  Festival this weekend!  It was so much fun!  From the last time we went, prior to kids, they have added so much!  There was a ton of stuff for the kids to to.  Madison enjoyed watching the shows, meeting mermaid and fairies, riding a pony, riding an elephant (which we all got to do which was awesome) and watching the shows!  They even had little games for her to play.  The theme the weekend we went was pirates and mermaids and they had a little parade where they threw gold coins to the kids.  It was a blast! 

Mom and Daughter Chalk Paint Fun!

Madison and I decided to bust out more chalk paint and have some fun!  It all started out so nice painting on the drive way.  Next thing I know we are painting Buddy and then we started painting each other!  It was such a fun afternoon!  I love when silly stuff just happens with my girl! 

Jack Loves Cake!

We had a little cookout tonight and decided to let Jack try a little piece of cake...a preview of what he would do on his birthday!  This kid pounded it and ended up with icing all over!  Needless to say there was a late night bath after this!  Love him!

Who Knew?

We went to the mall tonight to walk around and just get out of the house for a little bit.  We were down in the food court when we noticed these big stuffed animals that you could literally drive around the mall.  Of course, we had to do it!  It was hilarious!  Madison and Jack both loved it!  I've never seen anything like it before!  Loved it!

Summer Evening Fun!

What a fun night we had!  Aunt Donna came over since Jon was out of town and we had a nice dinner and then decided to do a project!  We busted out the sharpies and did some tie dye!  They turned out really cute.  Then we headed outside and decided to do some chalk paint!  What a mess but so much fun!  Then of course the ice cream truck came by!  What a perfect way to end a fun summer evening!
