Tree Lighting

Jon's parents invited us to go to the Gemini Center in Fairview for their tree lighting. It was a cute little event! They had some local businesses there giving the kids candy canes and cookies, popcorn, doughnuts, and hot chocolate. They also had puppet shows going on, singing, Santa (which we didn't stick around for), and face painting! Madison got her face painted for the very first time, she was a little snow princess! :)

Play Date in the Park

On Saturday it was actually nice outside, so we headed to the park with Aunt Rachel, Uncle Ryan, Meghan, Will, and their twin boys Ward and Liam. It was tons of fun and we were glad that we were able to get the kids together. I know Madison had a good time! She actually wanted to swing for a little bit instead of just going down the slide! It was a great afternoon and we hope we can get together again the next time they are in town!

Play Date with Bo!

Aunt Dawn brought Bo over to play with Madison on Friday! She had an absolute blast!!! She even shared some of her toys with Bo, as long as it wasn't her baby! They also laid on the floor together and Bo even followed Madison upstairs when it was time to get ready for bed! We can't thank you enough Aunt Dawn for bringing him over! You seriously made her night!

Gobble Gooble!

This Thanksgiving was amazing! We had a large group over this year and it was really nice to be surrounded by family and friends. The only people missing were Grammy and Gramps! We missed them this year! The festivities started around 3:00 with a table full over yummy appetizers!


We all enjoyed those, while Madison played (put a roll of quarters in her piggy bank), and opened up a gift from Amie and Lynn...which was amazing! They found all of the Yo Gabba Gabba characters for her. She absolutely loved it and named each character as she pulled them out of the bag! We all sat down for dinner at 5:00 and I must say I did pretty good cooking for 11 people! The turkey came out great and so did the stuffing! It was a great dinner and then afterward everyone just sat around and talked and hung out. It was a great holiday and I am very blessed to have a wonderful family and wonderful friends who are family too!

Fun in the Park with Doggies!!

Today, it was half way decent out so we met up with Aunt Rachel and Uncle Ryan to play with their doggies! Madison had a blast! Every time Ryan threw the ball for Cohen, Madison would run after him! She also enjoyed trying to walk Madalyn. She kept calling her and saying "walkie". She also got to see some horses on the trail. Thanks Aunt Rachel and Uncle Ryan for a fun morning! Madison always loves to see the doggies! :)
